Hi, I’m Betty — a user-centric Product & UI/UX Designer with a keen eye for detail and a diverse background in fashion, graphic, and digital design. I specialize in turning complex, data-heavy workflows into intuitive and delightful digital experiences, and bringing product ideas to life from concept to launch.

My design journey began in the fashion industry (2012–2020), where I worked as a buyer, tutor, consultant, and designer for eight years. I then transitioned into graphic design (2020–2022), honing my visual storytelling and branding skills. For the past three years, I have focused on product and UI/UX design for enterprise software at AspenTech, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bridge business needs and user goals.

During my time at AspenTech, I:

  • Created and documented reusable components and design tokens, ensuring cross-team design alignment and efficiency.

  • Designed and maintained scalable design systems in Figma, improving UI consistency across multiple products by 30%.

  • Collaborated closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to transform business needs into intuitive user experiences for data analysis applications, resulting in a 20% improvement in report generation efficiency.

Since the rise of AI in 2023, I have actively integrated AI tools into my creative process, producing a wide range of innovative design work and continuously exploring new possibilities in digital product design.

Key strengths:

  • Translating complexity into clarity

  • Blending aesthetics with usability

  • Deep empathy for both users and stakeholders

  • Multidisciplinary, innovative approach

🎯 What I do well:

  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Rapidly translating ideas into interactive, user-centred prototypes.

  • Responsive Design & Design Systems: Building scalable, consistent interfaces using Figma and Adobe Suites; creating and maintaining reusable components and design tokens.

  • Agile & Remote Collaboration: Working seamlessly with cross-functional teams in agile, distributed environments; driving cross-team alignment and delivering measurable product improvements.
